Choice of Finish
Paint Finish
We provide a flawless paint finish for our fitted wardrobes that is second to none. We use a quality paint as standard which is extremely durable and will last you for years. Our paint is water based and therefore more environmentally friendly than traditional spray paints.
Despite the term 'spray painting', the process involves much manual labour to achieve this finish. We apply at least 3 coats of paint and then thoroughly denib between coats. 'Denibbing' is the term used for the manual flattening of the surface with fine sand paper in-between every coat, this removes tiny imperfections. That combined with the high quality board that we use as standard ensures that you get a very smooth finish on surfaces and perfectly rounded edges on corners. See how we achieve this in our video 'The Secret to a perfect paint finish'.
Our quality paint from Sayerlack can be matched to your preferred shade from Farrow & Ball or other big brands. Here are four colours from Farrow & Ball that are popular with our discerning customers.
Hardware for Fitted Wardrobes
Hardware is the term that refers to the handles and knobs of your furniture. We use high quality hardware from a company called Häfele, who offer a wide range of styles and finishes for all tastes. We recommend a high quality handle for your fitted wardrobes as these will be used frequently and you will have a better overall experience if the handles have a comfortable grip and the edges are smooth.
Of course, you may want to go for a handless option. We can talk you through the different types of handles and explain the benefits so you feel confident about your decision.
